That was an interesting thread, I've gotta say I love old tools. I really want to restore my Dad's old sears bench grinder. The thing has been running strong for years 
, The coolest old tool I've ever used was at my Grandpa's house and it was a metal cased Skil power drill from Around the same era as that band saw, that thing is a torque monster 
, and will give you a work out if your drilling holes overhead. Sorry for getting 
. But he really did pay great attention to every little detail on that bandsaw, I'm really impressed with the workmanship he put into it. I'm hoping by favorite beverage you were thinking along the lines of some Sun Drop right?
