anybody ever try this?
I'm in the middle of a non-bump project and it gave me an idea for my headliner. My metal fab guy put these ribs in my pan metal on my car and I was thinking it would be cool to make a metal headliner and have the guy stamp the trucks name or Ford or whatever i decide in it. I could put dyno mat on it to keep it from rattling and could also incorporate speaker boxes or?? to help with my speaker placement problem as well ?? Just a thought. Any of you guys ever try this?[attachment=0]SOLSTICE PHILADEPHIA PREMIUM OUTLETS 039.JPG]

I haven't tried it but I could see it in a black truck with an F600 cluster and door panels to match the headliner. Maybe some diamond plate running boards. It would look out of place with woodgrain but I think it would work as part of an overall look. No I am not a Raider fan.In FORD we trust wrote:I'm in the middle of a non-bump project and it gave me an idea for my headliner. Man there is actually quite alot you can do for a headliner, Since the center support is there you can make your own console.

you know the 80's trucks have a metal headliner made into the truck. they had no other kind of headliner. it was just covered in metal.
