Just did the very same thing to my 69. Bought my 67 mirror from a member here. You just have to drill new holes for it as it's not the same holes as the visor clip you have now. Pretty simple actually. Contour is still the same, just hold it up there, line it up and mark a hole. Drill that hole and mount the mirror by that screw. Make sure everything's lined up, mark and drill the other 2.

I REALLY like the early style better and it took all of 5 mins to mount.

BTW: don't try to drill the remaining holes with the mirror still mounted by the one screw.

Why that? For 20 bucks you can just get it put on your windshield. They sell kits. Comes with a universal mirror, mount, and glue. Nothing to it, maybe 15 minutes at the most.

One drawback to the 67 mirror is the lack of a day/nite feature. You cannot dim the lights of tailgaters. I also think there is a subtle difference in the visor shape to clear the mirror placement. One is longer than the other type and would interfere when flipped down. So 67 visors are technically different. The good thing is the 67 mirror won't fall off.

the visor difference is 67-69 are the same and 70-72 are the same. 70-72 are wider where the mirror is at. because the mirror is wider. i think they did make a night vison 67 mirror. but i haven't looked i know kieth has his eye out for one though. so they must have made them. they were just rare i guess.
