Help with insulation panel !!!
I am installing the firewall insulation panel now and of course all the metal pins broke coming out of the truck. What does everyone use in their place. I tried to us plastic panel pins and they pull out because the insulation holes are a little off. I priced the LMC replacement pins and LMC said they were $4 a piece?????? that is hard to swallow. I am about to bolt the panel on from the engine side with stainless button heads, but I was wondering if the Fordification world had any input on a solution, or a better source for metal push pins.

those old pins are hard to save. if those push pin things you have will work i don't see any problem with them.

Re: Help with insulation panel !!!
The push pins I have are not working. They are the black plastic trim panel type push pins. They push in all the way and over night they pull out. I need a better solution. I was hoping someone here has installed an insulation panel before. I have to hurry because I am supposed to wire this thing this weekend.
