If you buy one expect to get pregnant (or get someone else pregnant) very shortly after you get it home.

Thats about how it works. I know an old member from here that bought '67 parts, brought them home and about 10 months later....TADA.

I never tell the wife if its from a '67, it seems to work. That and the fact i had a "doctors appointment" 10 years ago.

Good luck with this, a few of us have gone unscathed, but we are few.

Even though I owned my 67' before I got married, my wife still had twins.

Back a few years ago when I was buying bumpside trucks left and right for parts donors, I bought 4 different '67s at different times....and I now have 4 kids to show for it! Every time I got a '67, it was shortly afterward that we found out Mary was preggers. I think that's how the curse got started, but then other members started noticing the same phenomenon with their own truck purchases.

Beware of the Curse of the '67! It's REAL, I tell you!

So if you and your wife are trying really hard to have a kid but can't, buy a 67. lol
67's are for kids, thats why you get one kid for every 67.
Keith, congratulations on hitting the big 10,000 post count. Your still behind fordman though.

Does the curse apply to '67 Bumpsides or to all '67s? I only need one Bumpside but I was thinking of someday buying a '67 Galaxie for my dad (he had one in college). I'm not ready to celebrate Father's Day yet.

had 2 Galaxies - both '67s - over the years, and still no kids.

i had my kid before i got my 67' and have been clear ever since....maybe i shouldnt even write this in event of a jynxx!!
i think the only curse of the 67' is that they are the coolest of the bumps..i mean come on..they "SET THE TREND" for the bump :2cents:

Luckily, I didn't suffer the curse, since I was single when I bought my 67! Of course, it's now been diluted with 68 and 69 parts.
