Its a plastic ring with 3 tabs that holds the horn ring to the steering wheel.

Its screwed to the horn ring and locks it into the steering wheel.


this is what I get for trying to "FIX" my turn signal switch. :eek: :lol:

I broke mine too the first time I took off my horn ring. It is called a Horn Retainer Plate and you can get a new one from LMC or another supplier for about $8. Yours was probably brittle with age (like a lot of us).
