Someone asked me for a guide on how to do it. This is what I do.

1969 Ford F-350 DRW
1989 Chevy S-10 Tahoe ( It gets me to work and back and fetches parts and groceries)
1981 Buick Regal ( My deceased uncles last project/driver....renamed project Regal Eagle to be finished in his honor)
1990 Ford F-150 ( Miss Yvonnes Daily Driver )

That is a great video, helps alot thanks. I was at the wreckers today, found 4 trucks, none of them had the bearings or bearing holder. Any idea if anyone sells these. Thanks again. Al

Where did you get the bearings and what size are they?

I had the bearings and ashtray as an assembly from a parts truck. I just popped it all apart and reassembled it to give an idea of how it could be done. I did see another member on here post that the size was 11/32. I am by no means sure of that as I have never measured one.

I would post in the parts wanted section of the forums. I have in the past seen others come up with the parts there. Usually from several members. A carrier here....a couple of bearings there....a couple of more from elsewhere. I also recall that a member recently posted that he had three complete assemblys for sale. Amishbuggy as I recall. You might want to check out his post in the parts for sale section and perhaps contact him.
