re: scale models
I think your best chance would be to get a 73 and up model and try to make it as much like your truck as possible. Those are rare, but atleast they were made.

re: scale models
I have been trying to find someone to make at least a body to be use on the earlier or later chassis. I haven't found anyone yet, but I am still looking.

I have gone as far as sending an e-mail to the production team at Dub City requesting that they make a model of our trucks.

This was a Topic a while back,Every now and then you'll see a 67-69 Match Box Type Truck show up on eBay so you may want to keep an eye out there.

I used to be an avid plastic junkie. I read Scale Auto Enthusiast all the time back then. This was about 1992 and everyone then wanted a model of the then-new Chevy Caprice to build cap cars from. If I remember correctly there was a write-in campaign to both AMT/Ertl and Revell Monogram and Revell stepped up with the plastic cop car kit back then.
To make a long story short, all of us here need to write to both model makers for a 67-72 truck kit or die cast. Recently the 65-66 trucks have been made in die cast, so the interest is there.
I would love to have a Highboy model.

re: scale models
I think the 67-72 is about the only Ford truck series that hasn't seen production in 1/25 scale. I've got a 1/32 67 stepside with a friction motor made in yellow plastic and a handful of the Matchbox diecast 67's. One project that I'm trying to find time for is a conversion of the late seventies AMT F150 to pre 73 dimensions. I was told by a resin caster a few years ago he'd cast it if I built a pattern body. The early sixties F100's are gertting *very* expensive to buy now but I see Hobby Heaven (modelcarkits.com) has reissued a '63 at a reasonable price- so I ordered one. Keep sending those emails to AMT and Revell and maybe we'll see a decent kit yet.

If I remeber correctly there was a couple of smaller kit companies Galaxie and Polar Lights. I may have to do some searching on these and post Thier info here as well. We do neet to start e-mail campaigns to all the companies. I dunno if Lindbergh is still in business or not. Jo-Han and MPC are both gone.
Its a shame Ford didn't export many of these trucks to Japan as one of the Japanese kit companies would already have made a kit of it.

re: scale models
Boy, are those decanters ugly Looks like a 73 that someone put the front decal upside down on. I've got a 65 Mustang decanter that they really did a nice job on.
I thought I'd heard Johan was revived or at least some kits were recently. MPC was absorbed by AMT and they're reissuing some of the old MPC kits like the stock cars now. Always thought they had the best chassis and tires.
