thanks i appreicate it. My truck has been in the family since Feb of 1980 when my dad bought it from the original owner. I want it to last atleast a nother 30 years so i am doing my best to get back to looing the way it did when it rolled off the line with my own twist to it.

I love the family connection. That is the reason why I have the 63 Chevy Impala in the family since new. Looking foward to updates

any info on that oil pan ( how much, where you got it) i see them all over ebay but all the front sump pans on there say not for trucks or vans passenger cars only but my truck has a front sump like that on it .... any help would be greatly appreciated

i had the seller saved just incase i ever got this question. i have not sat the engine in the frame yet but the chrome pan matches the pan that was originally on the engine.
