Hi guys,

Its been along time since my last bump but ever since I traded my first truck off I've wanted another. I had a few 80's and a slick since then but I'm finally back were I started with a 70 F100 :woohoo: I found this truck on Cl for 800 bucks and drove it home 78 miles with crappy brakes through the Ozark mountians while it was raining with no wipers but its a 302/C4 its got rust but then plan is to buy back my old 70 F100 that I put all rust free body panels on to swap to this one. Today I started a spray rustolemn paint job put on a headache rack I made for my old 86 and found out its a posi

What I started with....

It always surprises me how good a rattle can paint job can look! Gives me hope for my plans for a satin black rattle can paint job.

My pervious one came out alot better than this one did. It was hard to cover all like 8 layers of black primer and runs from the pervious owner.

Last rattle can paint job I did

Since my last update I did a fluid an filter change in the c4 with hopes of saving it but it still makes werid noises now an then but so far so good its been my daily driver but I just added an edelbrock 289 performer and a brand new holley 600 i bought for 150 bucks and it really made the truck awhole new beast  . I also bought a new parts truck i been seeing this truck in a field for years so me and dad stopped and asked about it and 425 bucks later i own it. The plans to probably do a cab swap and front clip swap and part out the rest.

Howdy guy,

Finally got the parts truck home me and dad tow bared home with our 4cyl 5spd ranger  and today I started to clean it up and get rid of what was left of the bed. The parts truck is a 71/2 bought brand new a few miles from my house and was a special order truck and it was used its whole life on the farm haulin hogs around SW Mo. The plan now is almost an exact copy of what i did a few years ago with my last 70  but I'm planning on pullin the locked up 360 out and putting my mild buid 302 in front of the 4spd and my bed and whatever else it needs off my 70 on to it. I'm gonna go ahead and pop the cab off to undercoat everything and do new bushings an x pipe. Here's todays progress :fr:
