compressor recommendation

Grandpa just gave me $100.00 and told me to go out and buy an air compressor:) Any recommendations? I know this opens up a ton of possiblities for new tools. I don't have a very big garage and I live in HOA neighborhood so I can't get too crazy plus I would like to keep is somewhere around $100.00 if possible.

I'd like to be able to do the basics like fill up the tires & blow dirt out of stuff. I doubt I'll ever sand blast but that would be cool. I might paint small parts & get away from spray cans. Gpa has some spray painters he will give me but I have no idea how much HP they need.

I bought an air compressor and numerous other things at pawn shops with good results. For $100 you won't get much in something new.
