Glove Box Trim- Looking for clips

Post by mrtleavitt »

I've misplaced some clips that attach the chrome trim around the glovebox on my dad's '70 F100. You can see in the picture the chrome trim that goes around the glove box and a piece that continues under the ash tray. Does anyone know where I can find these small, spring clips?

let me see if I can get the oe part number for you from my parts book and then I would try green sales company. they are a obsolescence warehouse for ford parts.

I have found the part number it is C0AB-6404439-F. I have checked with green sales and they don't have any per their website. I would still give them a call though.

I would appreciate it. I can't believe I lost those clips. I'm really kicking myself for it now.

In the meantime, a little double-sided tape will hold it in place.

I actually picked up a handful of them at the local yard. You never know when someone might need one.
Let me know if you still need them.

Funny you posted today because I finally found some at a local pic a part today. I haven't seen a bump side there for over two years and today there were two! Thanks everyone for your help.
