Brake lines for axle swap?

Post by Ks Highboy »

I found a 76 disc brake front end to swap into my 67. I know the perches and shock mounts allow for a direct bolt in. Not sure about the brake lines. Do I need different front brake lines? I have the disc brake proportioning valve from the 76.

I did the basic swap you are speaking of on my 1970 F250 4x4. I used the brake hoses for a 76 front end. I also fabricated new lines from the proportioning valve to the hose attachment point.
