master cylinder

Post by 19674x4 »

well after much wd-40, head banging, cussing, and low light, i got my ORIGIONAL master cylinder off. thos bolts did not want to come loose at all. my plan tomorrow is to install the new one. Question, should i clean the end of the pushrod that goes into he cylinder? or just did it in new fluid? :hmm:

Clean everything that looks nasty while you can get at it.

Your new mc should come with a new pushrod, or a couple of them.
