71 Long bed drive line question.

Post by luke-ao »

Did the long wheel base trucks with a C6 trans have two drive lines with a carrier bearing like the C4 trucks? I've had several of C6 trucks over the years but can't remember if they had a single drive line.

Short wheelbase F100s have a single driveshaft. Long wheelbase got the dual shaft with intermediate carrier bearing. http://www.fordification.com/tech/bodybuilder70.htm
