engine swap

Post by brose68 »

Hey Guys, I've got a 68 bump with a 240 and 3 on a tree. I'm going to put a 289 in and was wondering if my bell housing will bolt up. Thanks in advance for any info.

Yes the bellhousing will bolt up from the 240/300 6 cylinder to the 302, (keeping in mind in the late 80's sometime Ford stopped machining the engine "boss' that holds the clutch pivot bracket in the engine block).
