it wasnt to bad, until he rolled backwards and started the burnout while still rolling back, thats really bad for the Rear Diff!

GOD that is beautiful. :D I love tire smoke.

However it is real hard on the drivetrain. Thats why they build performance parts, to take the stress!
1970 F100 4x4, 360 FE, NP435, 9", factory 4.10, Homemade 4" lift, 35/12.5R15 MT Baja Claws- ultra budget 4x4 toy
2001 F250 4x4, Powerstroke diesel, auto, 140hp TS Performance chip, AFE cold air intake, hopefully adding soon- Jobe performance cold air intake, CFM+ intake manifold, 4" turbo back custom duals, stage 2 injectors- Daily Driver
Hot Rods have a Ford in front and a toolbox in the back, street rods have a chevy in front and a can of wax in the back- Mr. Offenhouser
07 Harley Davidson Nightster, 1200 with stage 1 programming, RSD intake, straight pipes, and Ape Hangers!

I dunno, a pickup burning out isn't really very impressive, IMO. A guy I knew used to do that a lot in an old Chevy truck his Dad had, he thought it was so bad I had to explain to him that since there's no weight in the rear of a pick up that it really doesn't take much to break it loose in the first place.
Especially for those guys that disconnect their rear brakes.
Heck, even my dually IDI diesel will start to spin if I lay in to it too hard on take off.

We called it a brake torque, feather the brake so the vehicle doesn't move, but the rear wheels spin.
I had a friend who use to do this to his dads company car, and his dad couldn't understand why the rear right tire kept wearing out before the others. :D

back when i was traveling for a living & rented a lot of cars (late 80's-early 90's) i got cadillac's for the same daily rate as most would pay for economy rentals. you can do some really cool burnouts with those front wheel drive units- in forward or reverse
ps- N-E-V-E-R buy a rental car!
