Front running lights

Riddle me this, Batman. 1969 F250 When I pull the headlight switch to the "Running light" position, all four running lights come on. When I pull it all the way out, the headlights come on, the rear running lights stay on, but the front running lights go out. Now, don't laugh, but is this normal?

Never mind, found Lance65's wiring diagrams, and it explained it all. It is normal.
