? About a body style

have seen over past a lot of different body style trucks like F10,F11, F15,F25 ETC. but what is a F27 ? with 131" wheelbase

Never seen that one. Is it a 67-72 body style?

F37 was F-350 chassis/cab

Did they offer an F-250 chassis/cab?

I cannot say, but the door tag starts as F27 and wheelbase 131, regular bed 4 speed granny gear truck with Power Steering, did see some DS Codes,, right now waiting on carrier to ship it to yard in Las Vegas , so then we can bring it back here into our yard in NC

Body style says F272 and DS #'s 7 2 ?

Tom: DSO 72 is San Jose District Sales office, and as for F27, see post #11 in link below.......

1967/72: The first three digits of the VIN define the series, 2WD or 4WD.

F10 or F17 = F100 2WD // F11 or F18 = F100 4WD.

F25 or F27 = F250 2WD // F26 or F28 = F250 4WD.

F35 = F350

so far I have found a F27 listing but is in the 73-79 series trucks and those are showing cab/ chassis trucks

From the info I have seen Ford offered the F100,F250 and F350 all in cab and chassis models.
