Decided to put some liner on the cab floor and back wall. While not necessary I did apply it on the wall behind the gas tank as well. I also applied seam sealer on the welds too side (did the bottom as well before I applied the raptor liner). Over all it is looking great and I'm getting excited to start some body filler and getting color on the cab and fenders :)

Man this week I made a ton of progress on the cab. I finished the body filler work, sprayed high build primer, blocked the best I could, sprayed the white followed by the brown color. After the last 6 months it's nice to see the work come together.

You know as I've been working on my truck I have had a vision. Unfortunately my skills in real life are not as good as my brain suggests but all in all I'm happy. This was never intended to be a show truck. It's a way to keep a memory alive and to me every imperfection I make just adds to it. Tonight I painted the amber color on the cab, and man was it different compared to the white. The white liked a medium wet coat followed by a light coat. The brown was completely opposite so I may or may not of created a couple runs at the start. It's coming together slowly and that's all that matters.

I have to many photos to post so here's a link to an online album for those who want to see

Looking great! When the paints cured well a cut and buff on it will do it wonders but it looks great as it is!

thank you all for your kind words they are appreciated.

Just wanted to provide a quick update on the last couple of weeks.

1. I got the cab installed on the frame loosely
2. Lined both the inner and outer fenders with raptor liner (same as used on the bed) to provide some protection underneath
3. hung the inner fenders loosely but then had to remove them because i forgot the hood seal. they are now back on loosely pending final adjustment
4. positioned the carpet in the cab to test fitment
5. installed the rear window
6. started the new American auto wire harness and Dakota Digital cluster install.

Not alot of progress but progress non the lease.

Couldn't help myself tonight, as I ran out of sand paper while working on my fenders I decided to hang a couple more parts on the truck.

Going to be a great truck or many years to come! That liner inside the cab should make it much quieter.
