So what is wrong with the door you have? Based on what you have already accomplished, I would say you could fix yours, or maybe convert a newer door to the 67 style?

I'm not sure if you can use the 1968-72 doors as they are stamped differently, you can see the pictures of the two different styles of doors. I guess anything can be done if you have the skills. There is also a excellent thread by Keith that shows the disassembly and difference in the interior parts of the doors:

WOW its been 135 days since my last post on my project. I took some time off from the project for varies hunting seasons here in Idaho and don't think I touched the truck from November to January if im being honest. But as we all know it isn't hard to jump back in to a project if you have a desire to finish. I moved along to the bed of the truck and started some cutting, swearing and welding patch panels in place. After welding i sprayed some epoxy primer on the underside and then coated with some Raptor liner black. One completed I switched to the inside and decided to get some tint-able Raptor Liner for the interior of the bed. I really liked the way the raptor liner looked once down on the bed that I decide to put the bed on the frame to do the bondo work (and make it easier on the back since I don't have a bed dolly built).

After some spreading, sanding, coughing (from dust), more spreading and sanding I felt it was time to put the high build primer on and see how it looked. :D But before that I had to take a photo of the truck in black and white because man it looked good 8) . Primer made the bed look pretty dang complete and was pretty straight. After some more sanding and a smidge of bondo work she was ready for some paint. I started with the lower half of the bed and worked my way to the top.

Now all i have left to do

1. Exhaust System - stock single outlet behind rear passenger side wheel
2.Does anybody have a Drivers Side Headlamp door brightwork that is in a useable shape? I can't find one anywhere locally and all the ones online seem to be pricey.
3. Align the body panels and tighten the bolts
4. Install bed trim (and buy what im missing used if possible) and maybe finish the cab belt trim like I said I would months ago.
5. Check that all bolts and nuts are tight everywhere else on the truck
6. Install the Ranger trim around the glovebox
7. Locate some Arm rests for the interior that are either factory White or buy some black re-pops and paint them white.
8. Need to make a decision on my tailgate. It has some major rot on the underside that im not sure if i want to tackle the radius and what not with patch's. But as the truck sits right now its not required.
9. Find a 15" rim to mount my spare tire to so i can put the spare tire carrier back in and have something to mount to it.

Been busy on the truck since my last post. Got the body bolted and aligned and installed the seat. Started installing the remaining trim and found I was missing a few more pieces then I thought. Finished the rear wiring of the American Autowire harness, if i haven't said it before i highly recommend that kit!, after some more tweaking i had a bug saying drive it! So I did. Took the wife and kid both out in the parking lot and drove a couple circles.

Im currently putting a temp muffler on the truck as its scheduled for April to get a full exaust.

Now its just a waiting game on the pieces I've ordered from Dennis Carpenter, Melvin's Classic parts, and Autokrafters to put a few more finishing touches on the truck.

Well i decided something had to be wrong with my carb since i couldn't get it to run worth a darn. and boy I'm glad I swapped it out. This thing idles smooth and accelerates great now. Going to try and put a couple miles on it this week to make sure its running where I wanted. EXAUST ON THE 8TH!! can't wait! Had my twin brother come over one night and take it for a spin I think he liked it :D

Still missing one piece of trim but did manage to find the drivers side headlight door and man it helps shape the front up 8)
