Looking great so far. Every time I get another couple coats of epoxy sprayed I think I’m close to being ready for a finish coat but then my block sanding tells me otherwise...
Just noticed you are in Akron. I was just up there a couple weeks ago. Originally from Barberton.

Stripped down a door to start on inner and outer skins. Its hard not to tack a bunch of welds all the way across. I've been doing a pass about 4" apart then walking away to let it cool and do something else. I'll see how wavy the inside gets before committing to welding the outer skins. I'm still leaning towards body panel adhesive and about a 3" wide sheet across the floor inside of the 2 pieces to glue to.

Few updates. Slowly going back together. I pulled what was left of my radiator support brackets off the highboy and patched a few spots then welded them on a new core support and painted chasis black.

I picked up a new radiator at auction for $40. Hope it fits under the hood, much taller than the original

A mouse nest inside changed my mind. Hopefully now I won't smell pee when I turn the heat on

Needed a little motivation so I hooked up a few things and poured some gas in the carb. Hot wire to the coil and grounded the block then touched the starter wire to the battery. A few cranks and she fired up. So reassuring to know that once it all goes back together its gonna run.

Been waiting over 2 months now and counting for my windshield rubber to be back in stock. At least I convinced them to ship the rest of the order separately.
