Tonneau Cover?

Post by Gerittex »

I'm not looking to spend a fortune, any thoughts? I was looking at Truxedo Truxport or X15 or Low Pro. Any pros cons from people that have them? Waterproofness (I know nothing is 100%) is pretty important to me.

Any other brands? What's best? Looking to stay under $500

Thanks!

I used a TonnoPro 42-312 trifold cover on mine......they are for 73-96 F100's but for 1967-72 trucks perfectly. If I remember correctly i paid under $250 for it and haven't had any leakage issues in the 3 years it's been on there - and it's been in some pretty heavy downpours..........

Perfect timing. I was just looking for a suggestion. Thanks

There is a discount code of "EML70TP" for $70 off right now. I tried it and came to $220 shipped for an 8foot cover.

Thanks Ohiotinker!!!

I'll ask my question in this thread, cause the Theme is the same, with some more (other) questions.

I've contact TonneauPro, because I would buy an LR-3070 Rollcover for my 8Ft. bed.
They told me, it doesnt fit on an 72" F250.

Is there any difference on the 8Ft. beds between the 72' and for example the 73' to 79' models?
Outer panels have bumps or dents, but the top and the inner panels is the same...?

I hope anybody can help me.

Thanks and regards...

Found it.......

I also looked at the cover you mentioned and the reason they say it won't fit is the bed length on the 67-72 is a little shorter than the 73-79's........

Thank you...

The TonnoPro 42-312 fits on your 67 - 72 8 Ft. bed... :D

This version is also a option for my truck.

Do you have pictures from this cover on your truck?

Thanks and regards...

There's actually no easy way for a payable delivery to germany. :(

A friend of mine is working on the us-air-base in ramstein, but the size of the pack is to large for shipping by usaf.
Max. size is 130 inches, L+dW+dH
The pack of the cover is 75 + d37 + d5 = 159 inches

Are the rails of the cover divisible? And if, is it possible to fix the rails after cut them?

Thanks...
