Help identify this block casting number

Trying to identify the engine in my 1967 F100. I looked between the oil filter adapter and the oil pan and found these numbers but they don't seem to give me any answers. The numbers on the manifolds are period specific starting with C5TE and C7TE. I've looked on the right rear side of the block near the starter for a casting number but can't see it. Having just recently replaced my second starter in two years, this time on the road in the rain, I just don't feel like pulling it a third time just yet. Are the numbers in these photos helpful? The fourth character on the VIN tag is a "Y" indicating a 352 and I've got five bolts on my valve covers.

I've looked on the right rear side of the block near the starter but cannot see any casting numbers. Having just recently installed my second starter in two years years, this time on the road and in the rain, I'm not crazy about pulling it a third time just yet. The fourth character on the VIN tag is a "Y" and I've got five bolts on my valve covers.

Not sure if any of this information will help, but here is several items that talk about casting numbers. There is also a book that has Big Block Ford casting numbers in it. Hope this helps!

This might help. I had similar issues on a B2 when the PO decided to toss the flex plate spacer that sandwiches betweenthe engine and tranny. Are you missing that sometimes critical part maybe? As it sets the tolerance on how much the starter gear engages the flywheel/ring gear.

Those numbers by the oil filter are date codes. The others are just casting numbers. Not really defining what engine you have. It is definitely a FE engine (330,352,360,390,410,427 and 428). As to which one you have the only way to tell is measure the bore and stroke. Which you can measure stroke through the spark plug hole. I'll find the link to how to do this and post.

My guess would be either a 352 or 360. As those where the most common engines that came in bumps. But engine swaps after 50 years could be anything.
