Man you NEED a truck to carry all that stuff  My list is identical (I hate to be caught unprepared with a passion) with the addition of spare radiator hoses.

well most of the stuff i carry is already metioned but how about an extra pair of socks? in case you get your wet. and a medium duty coat in case you don't bring one and it turns cold. and some fuel line heater hose hose clamps of different sizes and battery terminal ends.

I can sure see the logic of the opinion that an auto club card, cell phone and few minor things are maybe all that's needed these days but there's another consideration, I believe. We run across those people 'living lives of quiet desperation' every day that maybe don't have the foresite we've developed through our experiences or networking. Circumstances and life just aren't going their way and boom -there they are, right in your path. Maybe it sounds corny, but I think it's cool that I'm sometimes allowed to be there at the right moment with the right solution for a problem that might have been the last straw for someone. That's why I try to make room for a lot of this stuff (plus my cell and a/c card) :D

In life many men take the path of righteousness, some take the path many others follow (G.M. owners, for example), some take a more arduous path, some a simpler path. I, sir, took the PSYCO-PATH!!
