Addco sway bar issues

Post by Ohiotinkerer »

Finally warmed up enough to venture out and work on the bump and decided to tackle my sway bars i bought and it has been nothing short of a nightmare........I had to get longer bolts and make spacers in the front so the bushings weren't tilted so far back they would hit something every time the suspension moved along with having to make a 1" spacer for the passenger side I beam because mount because the bushings were hitting the rubber suspension stopper. I've got all that worked out but today when I went to install the rear one where it bolts to the axel housing on the drivers side it's right over top of the block for the brake lines/rear end breather. There is NO WAY this can be right since there's no way to adjust the mounting points to avoid being right on top of the block. Has anyone else ran into this problem with the rear bar and if so how did you do it?........ :help:

Also loved Addco's instructions to use the NONEXISTENT existing mounting holes in the frame....... :cuss:
