DUDE! My dad sold a NOS 69 grill to Dennis Carpenter for like $450 thinking he got a bargain. It was LIKE NEW with no messed up places! #%#@!!!! :x :x :x

Keep your old lid because the new lid doesn't fit very well. The plastic is too stiff.

I thought I was pushing it when I bought that 71-72 NOS grill (another discussion on the forum) on ebay. Man these guys are NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek: I paid what I would have paid for a DC one. but since they are't making them for the next 3 to 6 months :? i pulled the trigger. I still can't believe that amount of money for one. You could probably have takin the dents out and chromed a use one for 1/4 that price.
