It's already at $600.00.
I give 4 free ice cream to the winner, but you must pick it up at any event I will be at this year.

I don't know about this guy, gonut's bidding strategy. He bid $500 and two minutes later, with no intervening bids, he bid $600.

I think what you're seeing are the actual bids and not the automatic bids. The guy was bidding up slowly to break the other guy's maximum bid amount which is hidden. I think that's how it works but I only see newbies do the inching-up bidding.

About ten years ago the friendly Ford dealer here had a NOS '67 aluminum grille in the box for $300. I thought they were nuts, maybe not.

just wondering- does that mean that the bid history is not really the bid history? jd

when you change your max bid ebay automatically bumps you up to the next bid amount. but i don't think the bid is increased in hundreds for this auction.

Last one I saw on ebay about a year ago went almost a grand so I will say $1127.57 and you can mail me the ice cream.
You know, if I had that I don't think I could bear to bolt it on a truck and have it get dinged. I would either sell it or just hang it on the wall.

I'll wait for Dennis Carpenter to re-pop them. Hey, maybe he's bidding on it?
