67 - 72 Super Cab

Post by hmills »

Just curious. When did Ford begin making the Super Cab - that is the two door extended cab? I saw a '72 the other day and was surprised that they started making it that early.

:yt:

The supercab `72 you likely saw was a custom, grafted truck, with `67-72 doors/front end/bed on a `74-up cab/chassis, with some custom bodywork thrown in to make it all fit. There was one posted here a couple weeks ago, 4x4 and all.

Looks like a killer job was done, though, and it looked liked a really cool truck to own.

And everytime I walk out to my truck to get in, I imagine seeing the `67-`72 lines on the `74... :hmm: :shh:

Like I need another project
