New to the site - 71 F100

Post by fordy6 »

Good Morning. I am new to the site with a 1971 F100. It's not in too bad of shape, but far from where I'd like her to end up. The body is fairly straight, but the engine and trans are sitting in the bed.....that's how it came to me. I believe it has the original 240 with three on the column. My son-in-law offered me a built 460 that I am anxious to start tinkering with. I have begun compiling parts, like lights, mirrors, and such. I will add pics when I get some taken. I look forward to learning much from the forum.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Still need to add pics....but with the truck sitting in the garage, it has somehow become a collection point for all things that are lost or without a home...it is embarrassing!! I replaced two dog dishes for my growing GSD, and my wife put the old dishes on the bed sides...I think it was a hint to clean off the truck....and get busy with it!!
