76 column in 67

Post by modrisco »

I want to put a 76 column in my 67 truck. What is the easiest plan for the wiring? Will the 67 turn signal switch work in the 76 column?

don't know if this will help since different years. I switched to power steering in my 69. I used a 74 column. I new the wiring would be a nightmare so i thought i would try putting the 69 shift collar (3 on tree ) and the 69 turning signal switch housing along with wiring on the 74 column just to dodge wiring issues concerning the turn signal switch. By doing that i got rid of the Hazzard switch that is on the 74 column and my wiring was a direct fit to under dash connectors. Everything worked out just fine. If yours is an automatic, i have no clue if it will work but it will be worth a try. :fr:

That sounds like a good solution. I will try the 67 signal switch in the 76 column, I am going from manual to auto so I want the column shifter. Thanks for the reply.
