Transmission kick down linkage

Post by TLXregnar07 »

What size is the E-Clip, or whatever that holds the kickdown linkage on the carburetor? I have a 360, standard 2-bbl, C6 Trans.

I not sure what size it is . I think you can still buy a small pack of different sizes. I have a pack I bought years ago. It has been very useful. Try a parts store or Harbor Freight .

Yep I've lost more than one of those, just pick up the "help" assortment from one of the box stores, there will be one that works...

I'll never understand how such a small spring can launch itself into parts unknown so reliably it is akin to a 1911 S80 plunger spring...
