67-72 F100/F250 door dome light brackets and switches with harness

Post by sinaloagold »

Im trying to piece out the door dome light switch system on my 69 F250 since it didn’t come from the factory with one. I would need the harness first. If anyone is willing to part and sell. Thank you.

Highly suggest you save yourself some money and grief and replace them with dent era switches and harness(s) like i did BC #16.

The bump era door switches have always been a part that needs constant attention due to the two small pins corroding/breaking/losing conductivity.

And you'll find the wires/circuit that feed power to the the switch(s) black w blue stripe tucked just inside the cab under the dash, (which can be fabbed very easily versus getting brittle 50+ year old wiring). :2cents:

The actual switch is different, so they should interchange between dents and bumps? Thank you for the input.

Yes the dent era switch is different but they'll use the same mounting holes, (they have "blade" type terminals versus the tiny pin type our bumps came with-a much more reliable switch).
So you do have to change the two wire harness at both doors as well, (an easy task).
