Looking for 72 F250 alternator harness

Post by DarinH »

This truck (72 F250 camper special, 360, 2wd) is new to me, so I haven't learned all the best online parts resources for it yet.
I need the alternator wiring harness. New or used, as long as it's complete. I have not been able to find one online.
Or if anyone can tell me the complete part number, that would be great.

I saw lots of Mustang ones available online but none of them had the same voltage regulator and starter solenoid connectors or the same number of wires. I'm not educated enough on electrical stuff to know how to modify them to make them work. I think the Camper Special F250 models have a few extra wires for the camper wiring connection. However, with the help of a friend, I was able to repair/modify the harness that came with the truck. Thanks for your input.

I did try them, and the guy I spoke to said they did not have the one I needed. I should have pressed a little further to see if others they have are very close. But, I have since been able to repair the one that came on the truck, so I'm all good now. Thanks for the reply.
