Headlight bezel(door) paint or polish?

Hi,I purchased the headlight bezel for my 70 f100 from Dennis Carpenter part #: D0TZ-13064 which are the painted black around the headlight. Issue is paint has started chipping off, almost all gone on my left. I was planning on just spray painting it again, but I am thinking about removing all the black and polish for a chrome look. Has anyone done this before? Any tips?
Also, the grille has a dull look to it, although it is also new, but I'd like to polish to mirror finish. Any tips? Is it possible?
