Correct color of Flywheel inspection cover?

Correct color of Flywheel inspection cover?
Does anyone have any photos or know the correct color from the factory for the inspection cover at the bottom the bell housing for the clutch/flywheel? Is it painted black or blue or was it plain zinc plated?

I don't believe I ever saw a factory one with paint on it.

So where they zinc coated then or just prone to rust right away.
