Which floor mat to get?

Post by evan_flatt69 »

Yesterday I tore down some of my interior do do some cleaning and I ended up taking out the seat and floor mat. And long story short it's in a few pieces now and is pretty dirty. So I went to LMC to look for a new one and from what the pictures look like neither of them will cover up all the floor. It looks like it will leave the space underneath the edge of the seat uncovered. I was wondering if anyone had had experience with either of these mats or knew how well they fit? Good evening Evan,

While the mat I wound up going with still leaves that area of the floor uncovered, it seems nice nonetheless. Maybe this thread would interest you?

Which rubber floor mat is best (D.C., Bob Drake, NPD, etc)?

Good evening FoPAR,

I'm working on it! :) I'll probably have it installed by next summer.

I hear you. Aquiring the parts/goodies for the Bump is the easy part. Finding the time to install em is another matter. I keep on aquiring stuff for the 68, and someday I will get to work installing them.

I remember looking at that thread a while back but I never could find it again when this came up. I'd really like to have the mat that is the most similar to the original one. I'm not worried about cutting holes or anything as long as there is a plain/original looking pattern. I'm not sure what I should get...?

The 1/8" thick one covers the entire floor, I have it in my truck and so far its been pretty good (had it about 2 years).

It also comes with some Jute insulation which is nice.

Alright thanks speed bump. I think I'll go with that one. Is there anyway you can post a pic?
