Bench seat reupholster

Looking into reupholstering my 67 F-250 bench seat, don't think I want to go with LMC, spoke to a local guy, and cost will be $475 with support spring work. I am thinking on keeping original design and color, but with a nice pleated fabric on fabric or pleated fabric on naugahyde, also considering my 68 Ranger design and removeing the metal buttons from my Ranger seat to install into the new seat. I have not found original seats reupholstered on this site except for a bright yellow one. Does anyone have pics of nice jobs done, or know where to look.

i purchased the cover from 1A auto.com but orderd the rest of material such as webbing,foam, hog rings and batting from other web sites. I am very pleased with the cover. It came with 1/2" foam sewed to back of it. Before i upholstered the seat, after stripping the seat of it's old material i cleaned and sanded the frame as good as i could. Welded a couple broken springs then painted the tubeler part of the frame and the seat hinges. I separated the back from the bottom before doing all this.. Let me know if you need more info.

Will be more than happy to send pic of truck but only if it was not in 500 peices. 75% of parts has been taken apart to restore. The only thing that is still standing is the chassis, suspension and motor. Just have not got that far yet.

Yes it takes time and money, I keep my 67 running good for my business, and will start the resto when I retire her. I can remember when Dad bought her new and my sister and I learned to drive in her. I am 55 now, and not to long ago my high school parking permit sticker fell off the back of the rear view mirror....fun stuff.
