Reupholster

Post by jasondart »

Had the seat reupholstered and the carpet replaced. I was going to go original, but red carpet and a red seat was just too much. Black was just too dark (No AC), so this is what I came up with. Tan on red.

I had the seat done by Todd Walters in Lake Crystal, MN. He did an awesome job.

Good day Jason,

That's beautiful--what an enormous improvement!

And I think that your decision to go with a light-colored seat was very wise. Nothing makes an oven out of a car as well as a black interior, it seems.

I love it. Looks great. I would be scared sitting in it just because of the chance I could get it dirty

Mighty fine, mighty fine. I think that tan seat with the dark red belts makes all the red look better, and the carpet sets is off, too.

Did you have carpet before, or just the original vinyl floor cover? Your project makes me consider upgrading to carpet someday.

Thanks for sharing.

Wow, that looks great! I have a green truck, and always figured I'd do it in green again. But the tan looks so good in your truck, it's making me think differently ... Carpet looks great, too. Again, I was thinking about the plain black vinyl floor covering, but your carpet REALLY sets things off. Where'd you get the carpet? Did your upholsterer do that, too?

Awesome interior! As an amusing side note, my truck currently has that exact same seatcover in it that yours did in the before picture.

Looks great.. the red and tan make for a nice combo. Where did you get your carpet kit at?
