One piece side window conversion

Post by FordHam »

Has anyone completed a one piece side window conversion in our trucks? I know Vintage Glass makes a one piece replacement and one of their other companies makes the conversion kit containing channels, rubber, etc. I spoke with a guy today at the company in Pennsylvania who said they used to make and sell the complete conversion kit, but stopped because they got so many phone calls requesting help from customers trying to install the kits and running into technical problems. He said they couldn't keep up with their glass orders for having to answer the phone all the time. He mentioned it wasn't an easy conversion, so I was wondering if anyone has tried and done this. Thanks.

There was a company in Lawrenecville called Vintage Glass. I think it was part of the company that makes the glass in Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, their number on the internet doesn't seem to be functioning. If anyone has any info, I would love to hear about it.
