Best Currently Available Dash Pad
Looking for a new dash pad for my 1967. Buying new is OK and I am looking for the best fit (ford tooling).
- Dennis Carpenter has one but it is made by Universal Urethane.
- flashbackf100s.com has one that claims to be Ford tooling.
Anyone have any experience with these or others?
Thanks,
Jim

Re: Best Currently Available Dash Pad
I ordered from Flashbackf100s.com
They drop shipped to me from the manufacturer and only took 2 days. The maker is Universal Urethane out of Las Vegas. They have the ford tooling and seem to supply a lot of companies with the dash pad, including Dennis Carpenter I believe. Flashbackf100s had the lowest price at $340. I'll let you all know how it fits when I get it in.

I found a guy who does reupholstery work on seats and couches and stuff. he says he can completely redo my dashboard and it will look as good as new. He will put on new foam and new vinyl. all in all it should cost around $75. i can't think of a better route.

Re: Best Currently Available Dash Pad
My dash pad was decomposing. It fell apart during removal, so recovering would not have worked.
13 or 14 bolts to put it in. I removed the instrument panel, ash tray, radio, and glove box liner. Took a couple hours total. Now for the seat and carpet.
