New seats in an old truck
I have a 1969 F100 and i want to replace the destroyed bench seat with two buckets and a fold down center seat from a 2000 or later silverado or tahoe. those vehicles have built in seat belts and look pretty nice. i would get fabric seats. my question is, can this be done? will those seats fit? i understand have to drill new holes and most likely using spacers in the front i think but are they the right depth, and width? what are my best options?

Re: New seats in an old truck
I kind of did the same thing, I put some buckets out of 98 F150 in mine. If I had to do it again, I would probably do a bench seat with a fold down center, but I kind of wanted a full console. So Im about to start building that. As far as mounting goes, I would steer clear of drilling new holes, unless you plan on reinforcing where you mount. I made simple brackets that would allow me to use the stock mounting holes. I used 1"square tubing.
