Have you've gone to this swap before? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth the trip out there. It's a good 12 hour drive for me. I know that there's some big auto swap held there in puyallup like once a year. What do you know about that one?

Yes, I go to all three of them every year. The high performance and the 4x4 swaps are pretty huge. My favorite is the 4x4 swap. There is more Ford stuff at this one plus I am into rock crawling. The oldies swap is OK, but is for the real old stuff. There is one fellow there that sells nothing but 67-72 Ford pickup stuff.

Ther is also anothe big 4x4 swap up north, but I have yet to make that one. It is a couple months after this one. Then one more in Sept in Enumclaw, it is small.

If you plan to come let me know. You can camp here if needed.

Hey Greg, that "other 4x4 swap meet up north," is that the one in Mt. Vernon? I've never been to it either but always wanted to go. I asked some people on the SNORT board about it though and only got a luke warm response. Do you know when it is?

I beleave it is in Monroe . I am not sure when it is exactly, but it is sometime closely after the one in Puyallup. I can find out.

Ok, I've been to the Monroe one. Not bad, but not as good as Puyallup. Depends on what you are looking for. Funny you sent me that link. I did a search for WA swap meets just tonight and came up with the same link. The one I'm talking about is in Mt. Vernon and I think it's later, maybe spring. I don't think it's as popular, which could mean deals or just crappy stuff.

Yeah, definetly the Puyallup one (unless I'm out of town). Maybe the Portland one, if I can talk a buddy into going (and driving ). I usually go to the White Knuckles in your neck of the woods (sorta). I just need to remember the dates. If I do, I'm usually a sucker for going. I need a '73-'77 steering col. from a 4x4 so I'll be looking for that. F.O.R.D. and I have been PMing each other all night on this junk too.

The White Knuckle one is cool. I've jeeped once with a few of those folks before. I know why they are called White Knuckle .

Damn, I just checked my schedule and I am indeed going to be out of town. I'll be in OR for a PNW convention and I have to go. Oh well, at least I know I'll come home with a free Optima battery I already won.
