1972 Heat control switch
Hi, My 1971 Ford F-100 heater Switch and blower are not working . The blower does work ,I tested it. The switch on the other hand When i disassembled it to put new cables on the Controls I noticed the Connection to the Fan (on and Off) switch in the back were the plug goes in to the terminals , Two of the prong's out of the 5 are bent over so they are not being used. So now i have to find the right plug and figure out how the wiring goes . Can anyone send some information on this Please. And if you need more in fo cantact me. Thank Kevin

Re: 1972 Heat control switch
Kevin,
The wiring diagram for our 71' is one of the only one's missing here on the site:

I'll try to slow down long enough this weekend and look at my classic diagram, (once again-highly recommended to anyone here):

I would guess that the wiring on our heater hasn't changed much through the years as I seem to remember the switch being the same for quite a few years of our bumps. Maybe Hawkrod knows a little more about the switch? But you'll probably still have to find the harness side of the switch to make it work properly.
